I was drawn to nephrology and a career treating kidney diseases because of the interesting complexity of this organ system. The multiple roles the kidneys play in our body and in their normal function amaze me to this day. While caring for my patients, I strive to help them be as well informed and involved in decision-making as possible.

In my free time, I like to spend time with family and travel.
