Diagnosis & Treatment for Neurological Disorders

Neurologists are specially trained to diagnose and treat conditions of the nervous system. A neurological disorder can seriously impact your quality of life and ability to live independently. Our neurologists focus on treatments that reduce pain and teach patients how to manage their condition so they can live life to the fullest.

If you or someone in your family is having symptoms of epilepsy, carpal tunnel, Parkinson’s, or other neurological conditions, our team is here to help.

The nervous system is made up of two different systems:

  • The Central Nervous System This is the brain and spinal cord. Most neurological disorders affect these areas.
  • The Peripheral Nervous System These are the nerves located outside of the brain and spinal cord. The peripheral nervous system connects the central nervous system to limbs and organs, so even a problem with peripheral nerves can be traced back to a condition of the brain or spine.

Our neurologists can perform electromyography (EMG) and Electroencephalogram (EEG) tests. These are diagnostic procedures that can assess the health of the muscles, nerves, and brain.

Our neurology department provides:

  • World-class neurology care wherever you are.
  • Treatment plans that are tailored to meet your needs.
