Clinical Laboratory
Pathology & Blood Banking Services
Clinical laboratory staff play an important role in determining the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. St. Croix Health’s full-service and certified High Complexity Laboratory provides the local community clinics and hospital lab services.
The lab provides pathology services for lab tests, serves as a blood bank resource for hospitals in the area, offers direct access for a variety of tests that do not require referral from a provider, and are available on a cash/pay basis.

You will need either an in-person provider visit or CroixCares Virtual Health visit prior to being able to schedule a COVID-19 test if you have symptoms.
- Samples are being collected at our Respiratory Illness Clinic in St. Croix Falls and our Webster Health Center.
- Your test results will be sent via MyChart or via a phone call. If you do not have a MyChart account, you can sign up by clicking on the MyChart tab at the top of the page.
- Results will be available within 2-3 days, depending on test volumes.
You can get tested for COVID-19 if at least one of the following is true:
- If you have COVID-19 symptoms, you will need either an in-person provider visit or CroixCares Virtual Health visit prior to being able to schedule a COVID-19 test.
- If you do not have COVID-19 symptoms but have been exposed, call to schedule a COVID-19 testing appointment.

Because of the increase in symptomatic patients and high-risk exposures in the area, St. Croix Falls is currently unable to perform COVID-19 testing for travel purposes. If you need a pre-travel test, please look at being tested at the airport, through the county health department, or other testing locations in the area.
